The Restaurant Pizzeria Antico Rio is situated in Serravalle Pistoiese, halfway between Pistoia and Montecatini Terme, 300 m from Hotel Lago Verde, if you follow the river from the lake you’ll find our Restaurant in the heart of the forest of Serravalle.

The Restaurant has a very warm welcoming rustic feel, with a room, which feels very much like home with a fireplace to keep you warm on those cold winter evenings. There is the Pizzeria room with the wood burning pizza oven and a large elegant dining room.
Outside we have a garden and veranda perfect for those long hot summer evenings where you can enjoy a relaxing evening dinner.

In the kitchen there’s Tiziano chef and owner who’s menu is simple using typical original products, making home-made bread and pasta, fresh fish and meat cooked on the coals. The pizza following the original method and cooked in the wood burning oven and last but not least the fantastic home-made cakes made by Irene.

On Sunday open for lunch and dinner. Closed on Monday.
