La Bottega dell'OsteVia Biscolla, 57, 51016 Montecatini Terme (Pistoia) Web site: www.labottegadelloste.it |
The Bottega dell'Oste is one the most historical restaurants in Montecatini.
When it started out, it only had four tables, however it soon made a name for itself with its culinary ability. Even today the restaurant is dedicated to local cookery with all the necessary products of the region: extra virgin olive oil from the hills of Montecatini, unpasturised ricotta and percorino cheese from the Pistoian mountains, chestnut flour, homemade salami, beans and pulses from Paratomagno, white truffle from San Miniato, they are all taken close care of.
The entrance to the Bottega dell'Oste resembles a delicatessen and plays tribute to the beginnings of the inn and the beginnings of nonna Amelia.
There is also lots on offer at lunch time:
- Sandwiches with cold cuts and Parma style ham served with a glass of good wine
- quick lunches
- wood oven baked pizza
